OUR DISCLAIMER

Please read the contents of this disclaimer: -

All vehicles brought for remapping or Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) removals will be deemed fit upon presentation and it is not the responsibility of Broadland Tuning to prove so. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the vehicle is up to date in respect of servicing, timing belt schedules and all other manufacturers maintenance schedules. Any unforeseen damage that may occur during or after the process is not covered or guaranteed by Broadland Tuning. Broadland Tuning will advise the customer of any faults that become apparent during or after the remapping process. We will not accept any liability after 14 days from the date the remapping process was carried out. The installation of any product including but not limited to remapping may or may not void the car’s factory warranty and it is the responsibility of customers to check this with their vehicle manufacturer. It is the customers responsibility to notify their insurers of any modifications. If you have carried out any modifications to your vehicle and your vehicle subsequently develops a fault we will not accept liability for any of those parts before, during or after any remapping process.

At your request, Broadland Tuning can carry out a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) removal from your vehicle, known as a DPF delete. If requested Broadland Tuning will remove part or the whole physical DPF element from within the exhaust system. All sensors relating to the DPF system must be working correctly and remain in circuit for remapping to be carried out. As part of the VOSA inspection a DPF unit if fitted at factory must be present at time of test. Broadland Tuning carry out this process at the request of the customer and will not be held responsible for any future actions or issues relating to DPF removal.

Prior to the DPF process starting Broadland Tuning will carry out a full scan to ensure the vehicle has no issues that may affect the process. Not all faults will create a fault code or record any faults or problems on the vehicles ECU so it is your responsibility to notify us of any faults or problems beforehand. If the process is being requested to resolve and underlying DPF issue or other problems we cannot guarantee the delete will resolve all issues. A DPF delete may not cure underlying problems the vehicle may have. If a fault develops that is directly related to the work we have carried out we will attempt to fix the fault. If we cannot fix the fault then we reserve the right to remove the software we use on your vehicle and return it to its original condition. Along with this you authorise us to replace the DPF with a new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) DPF along with any sensors as necessary to enable the vehicle to be put back the condition it was in when new.

Refunds

We will only give refunds subject to following conditions being met.

It is Broadland Tuning aim to give 100% customer satisfaction however we appreciate that there are times when for whatever reason this is not always possible.

If you are unhappy and your vehicle is returned to us within 14 days from the date of the remap process having been completed we will remove the tuned file from your vehicle, replace it with its original stock file and refund you 100%. This does not apply to vehicles that have had the ECU removed for remapping, or vehicle DPF delete process carried out or any other modifications. If you return your vehicle to us after the 14 day period up to 30 days, there will be a charge to return the vehicle to stock that being 50% of the cost of the original work. This does not apply to vehicles that have the DPF delete process carried out or any other modifications. No refunds will be given after the 30 day period.

If you return the vehicle to us because it has developed a fault after the remapping process and the fault is not directly related to the actual work we have carried out you will not be entitled to a refund. This includes but is not limited to EGR coolers, EGR valves, DPF’s (if not part of the DPF delete process), sensors, clutch and flywheels, gearboxes etc

We cannot give refunds on vehicles that are subject to the DPF delete process. If the DPF process fails then a new DPF will need to be fitted and the ECU recalibrated (put back to how it was when it left the manufacturers). You will be advised of this and you authorise us to supply and fit a new OEM DPF which is chargeable
